perfect base for exploring essaouira's vibrant medina and seafood

During my stay, I enjoyed the amazing views from the rooftop while savoring breakfast, and the helpful staff provided me with a map marking nearby attractions like the historic Moulay Hassan Square and the nearby ramparts, making my weekend strolls nice.

Location: the hotel was next to chilled Essaouira as well as ie restaurants that open during the month of Ramadan. Our suite with a delightful balcony and lovely rooftop breakfast plus a terrace was romantic.

The hotel provides an amazing service...

The breakfast served on the roof terrace was good, with fine views of the surroundings and offering a cozy, relaxing atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the WiFi connection was quite unreliable , making it difficult to stay connected.

While the hotel had its moments, like the lovely decor, I found myself stuck on the ground floor with no 'garden view' whatsoever. Plus, I was really hoping for that complimentary upgrade, but I suppose frequent travelers don't matter here. I almost gave a good review, but couldn't with those inconveniences.

Request a room on higher floors to enjoy better views and avoid potential damp issues in lower-level rooms.

Couple's retreat for the senses

So, we stayed for a few nights in a lovely room with a perfect sea view! The staff was not just helpful, but they really were really nice, even sharing insider tips about the local hidden gems.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but worth every penny.

The rooftop terrace offers fine sea views and the breakfasts are outstandingly prepared. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you feel welcomed and at home.

Especially Noor. Breakfast on the terrace provided a good start to our day, with local pastries and a refreshing ambiance. We loved the garden view from our room with a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation.

The breakfast on the roof terrace offered a beautiful view of the ocean and delicious options, including baked chocolate cakes. The room was cleaned during breakfast, which caught me off guard as it made it difficult to organize my belongings beforehand. While the location is convenient, it can get a bit noisy in the mornings.

Spent two nights in the Dunette Double Room with a spacious balcony offering fine sea views. Breakfast was a good spread served on the rooftop terrace, complete with local pastries and a cozy ambiance. Especially Soufiane, provided excellent service and shared great local tips.

Minor street noise.

The Rouge Room was fantastic, offering a cozy space with a lovely garden view that made mornings very relaxing. I also loved lounging on the sun terrace and enjoying a soothing massage, which really added to my unwinding experience. The bed was a bit on the firm side for my taste, but with everything else being spot on, that was just a minor thing. Pro tip, don't skip breakfast. the local breads are absolutely delicious! 🥐

The rooms were cozy and beautifully decorated, and the staff treated us like royalty, even giving us a detailed map of the area. It was a total gem, away from the hustle but close to everything!

Honestly, the only downside was my reluctance to leave! I tried to pack the atmosphere, but it didn't fit in my suitcase.
